Rules for Robo Velocity (Robo Race)
A high-speed competition where autonomous or manually controlled robots navigate challenging tracks
Team Composition
- Robo Race is an exciting competition where autonomous or manually controlled robots navigate a specially designed track filled with obstacles, ramps, and turns.
- Open to all students irrespective of their branches and year.
- Team should can have a maximum of 4 members.
- Participants must maintain respectful behaviour; any violation of the rules will result in disqualification from the competition.
Event Format
- The track will feature turns, inclines, speed breakers, and obstacles to test control and speed.
- Robots must stay within the track boundaries; going off-track may result in penalties.
- Teams can restart in case of technical failure, but a time penalty will apply.
- Preliminary Round: Teams compete to qualify for the finals based on speed and accuracy.
- Final Round: The fastest robot with the least penalties wins.
- In case of a tie, a re-race or an obstacle challenge will determine the winner.
Robot Specifications
- Maximum Size: Up to 30 cm × 30 cm (L × W) (small variations are acceptable).
- The robot must be powered only by batteries.
- Voltage Limit: Maximum 12V allowed.
Prizes
- Winner prize : Cash prize with certificate.
- Runnerup prize : Cash prize with certificate.
- Participation certificates will be awarded to all participants.
